A lot of you ask me how I manage to craft with a very active little one around and what activities we do together.

Starting this year,  I will share easy ideas on crafting with kids. These would be activities that will also help improve their fine motor skills. The supplies used will be bare minimum and easily available locally.
Don’t forget to assist your child and enjoy crafting with them.

My daughter is 4.5 years old. Please make sure your child is old enough for the activities before you give any of them a try and don’t leave them alone with sharp tools like scissors. Stay safe, be happy !

For today’s craft activity, we’ll make a simple card using only 3 basic supplies, we’ll need card stock, some yarn in different colors and glue and that’s it.

To start with, draw some shapes on the card stock with a pencil. I chose to draw flowers because they are the easiest but you can really draw any image you like.

Trace the pencil lines with glue and adhere yarn. A simple as that 🙂

Watch the video here to see the complete process (My daughter, Aadya makes and appearance too 🙂 )

I hope you enjoy watching these 🙂
