If you follow me on FB, you must have seen these already, but I just wanted to share these shagun envelopes(we have a tradition of giving monetary gifts in India, especially at weddings ) with you here.

It is my maiden attempt at quilling (something that I find fascinating, something for which I follow numerous blogs, something for which I have watched lots and lots of videos, something that I have wanted to try for the longest time). Even though my quilling is not perfect, I am so proud of these 😀

I made a pair of these in red and orange and I am showing off so many pictures just to make sure you don’t miss out any pretty details(there are lots of little ones on these) 😀

These will add that special touch to the monetary gift giving tradition!

P.S. I have a couple more designs for these envelopes to show that doesn’t involve quilling. Will post those too in the days to come.

Entering these for the Itsy Bitsy Wedding and Celebrations Challenge for January and for the Crafty Bloggers Network Challenge#7-flowers.

See ya again soon!
