To tell you all the truth, I am going through a really weird phase these days in terms of crafting. I have loads and loads of idea going around in my mind whole day long but when I actually try to work on them, I feel lazy..in fact very lazy 🙂 and so those ideas stay in my mind and then the next day I keep reminding myself so that I don’t loose those ideas (yeah, I am lazy even to jot those ideas down 🙂 ) Does that happen with any of you too? Any ideas for getting rid of this crafting laziness ??? 😀

Today’s card is one of those cards that has been doing rounds in my mind for a long time and then I saw a few challenges that finally made me make the card :D.
The first one is ICR Challenge#9 – Celebration + No Stamping. Then the Lily Pad Cards fabric/ felt Challenge and then Fabulous Felt Challenge at Moxie Fab World and finally the Sketch at Card Patterns Sketch#128

Supplies: cardstock: Elle Erre Fabriano!; Embellishment: Pie Lane – Glitter Strip(red), glitter balls; SRM stickers, Echo Park Stickers, felt

I wanted to try doing something different from my usual clean-and-simple-mostly-stamping style and ended up making a shabby chic card 🙂 Another reason for making this card was the mounting stack of pretty pattern papers in my cupboard. My new goal is to put these pretties to use more often.

I am not sure which pattern papers(6X6) are those (I think Basic Grey) because I got them loose as part of a blog candy. All the felt shapes on the card are hand cut and then hand embroidered. Loads of hand stitching.

Any questions about techniques, tools or supplies used…leave me a comment and I will make sure I answer it in tomorrow’s Q&A Section 🙂

I hope you like it! Thanks for visiting!
